Vita - Yannick Saillet

I was born in November 1966 somewhere in France. Until I was 17, I did nothing that could be interesting for anybody. That was the day when I decided to sell my parents car while they where on holidays to finance my first short movie.

My directing career started that day, but on the other side I had to take an after hour job to pay back the car.

With the help of my short movie I found jobs on movies directed by Magaret Von Trotta, Olivier Assayas, Serge Gainsbourg. I even found a job on the 80 Blockbuster TV Show Dallas.

From 1993 till today I directed over 120 music videos for artist like Céline Dion, Curt Smith from Tears for Fears, Mark Almond from Soft Cell.

In 2003 I won a french Grammy award for best music video of the year.

Up to now I worked for clients like Coca- Cola, Evian, Diesel, Chanel, Lipton, Elle, Playstation, Novartis…
