Director of Photography JON GAUTE ESPEVOLD F.N.F.
Growing up in a small town, on the west coast of Norway, making films was the main leisure activity for Jon Gaute Espevold. But what started off as a hobby in his early teens soon turned into a serious career path.
After graduating from Cinematography class at The Norwegian Film School, he moved to Oslo where he began working as a freelance DoP in 2000.
Turning his hobby into a job has not taken away the joy of working with film as a creative medium. Jon Gaute is constantly seeking new challenges, and to make the best film possible on every project. Along with commercials and music videos his work also includes feature films. He is a member of the Norwegian society of cinematographers (FNF), speaks fluent English, and is waiting for your call.
